Teaching since 2020 as both a tutor and lecturer, with experience in schools, universities and private tuition, working one-to-one and with classes of up to 40 students. Qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts with Honours in History, a Master’s degree in Military History and a Teaching English as a Foreign Language qualification, including training in International English Language Testing System preparation. 

Tuition is available in History, Politics, English and International English Language Testing System preparation at GCSE, A-Level and undergraduate level. Lessons are calm, supportive and tailored to each learner, with a strong focus on clear understanding, stronger written expression and steady academic progress. 

Support can include improving essay structure, analysing sources and texts, developing deeper understanding of historical and political ideas, strengthening English skills and preparing for examinations. 

There is also experience supporting students with both visible and hidden disabilities, with lessons and resources adapted to suit different learning needs. The overall aim is to create a positive learning environment in which students can build confidence, develop their skills and produce their best work.
